On the Controllability and Stabilizability of Linear Complementarity Systems

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2019
This paper studies controllability and stabilizability of linear complementarity systems that can be cast as continuous piecewise affine dynamical systems. Under a certain right-invertibility assumption, we present a la Hautus necessary and sufficient conditions for both controllability and stabilizability.

Well-posedness of linear complementarity systems [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 38th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.99CH36304), 2003
In hybrid systems theory one often assumes (i) existence of solutions (ii) uniqueness of solutions and (iii) non-Zenoness (i.e. at most a finite number of events in a finite time interval). Sufficient conditions for these properties are rarely given. We present the state-of-the-art of the well-posedness results for the linear complementarity class of ...

A Fast Algorithm for Solving a Class of the Linear Complementarity Problem in a Finite Number of Steps

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2020
The linear complementarity problem is receiving a lot of attention and has been studied extensively. Recently, El foutayeni et al. have contributed many works that aim to solve this mysterious problem.

A New Dropout Compensation Scheme for Fuzzy Dynamic Output-Feedback Control of Discrete-Time System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This article under unreliable communication links considers the problem of dynamic compensation output-feedback control for non-linear discrete-time networked control systems (NCSs) with packet dropouts in the light of the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy ...

Distributed Collaborative Optimization of a Multi-Region Integrated Energy System Based on Edge Computing Unit

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
The coordinated optimization scheduling of the integrated energy systems is vital in multi-energy complementarity and hierarchical utilization. However, the centralized optimization is inferior to the distributed optimization of the large-scale ...

Linear complementarity problems on extended second order cones [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper, we study the linear complementarity problems on extended second order cones. We convert a linear complementarity problem on an extended second order cone into a mixed complementarity problem on the non-negative orthant.

Generalised Compositional Theories and Diagrammatic Reasoning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This chapter provides an introduction to the use of diagrammatic language, or perhaps more accurately, diagrammatic calculus, in quantum information and quantum foundations.
