Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1429-1452, June 2026.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1453-1472, June 2026.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Variable structure model for flow-induced tonal noise control with plasma actuators

open access: yes, 2008
The objective of this work was to study the effect of plasma actuators in attenuating low-speed flow-induced cavitytones from a control point of view by employing techniques from classical control. A modification of the existingphysics-based linear model

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1513-1534, June 2026.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Non Linear Modelling and Control of Unified Power Flow Controller [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
Unified Power Flow Controller is modeled as a non linear system in order to apply a non linear control technique for the improvement of power flow in a Single Machine Infinite Bus system.

Three-dimensional unsteady flow in the oscillating turbine blade row [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
This thesis documents an experimental and computational study of the unsteady flow around oscillating blades in low-pressure turbines, with emphasis on the three- dimensional flow behaviour, intra-row interaction effects, tip clearance flow and part ...

Hagen-Poiseuille Flow Linear Instability

open access: yesCardiometry, 2014
In the suggested here linear theory of hydrodynamic instability of the Hagen Poiseuille flow it is counted the possibility of quasi periodic longitudinal variations, when there is no separation of the longitudinal and radial variables in the description of the disturbances field. It is proposed to use the energetic method and the Galerkin approximation

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 20, Issue 6, Page 1535-1555, June 2026.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

An investigation of secondary flow in a turbine blade with end wall profiling [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Secondary flows have been long recognised as a significant form of loss mechanism in turbomachinery. They have a major influence over the performance of the blade rows since they cause unsteadiness in the mainstream flow.

Application of the Linear Stability Theory in the Study on Fully Developed Two-Phase Flow Patterns in Circular Pipes

open access: yes, 2002
Apart from its clear academic relevance, the study on the stability of fully developed concentric core-annular flow in straight circular pipes is motivated by its technological importance with applications such as in the prediction of two-phase flow ...
