Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

Fractional CCP: A Fuzzy Goal Programming Approach

open access: yesInternational Journal of Industrial Engineering and Production Research, 2014
It is the purpose of this article to introduce a linear approximation technique for solving a fractional chance constrained programming (CC) problem. For this purpose, a fuzzy goal programming model of the equivalent deterministic form of the fractional ...

Some approaches to solving fuzzy linear fractional programming

open access: yesWasit Journal of Computer and Mathematics Science
An important planning tool is linear fuzzy fractional programming, it is used in various fields such as business, engineering, and others. We are trying to get one of the direct and effective methods that contain some arithmetic operations to obtain the

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Liquid biopsy epigenetics: establishing a molecular profile based on cell‐free DNA

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) fragments in plasma from cancer patients carry epigenetic signatures reflecting their cells of origin. These epigenetic features include DNA methylation, nucleosome modifications, and variations in fragmentation. This review describes the biological properties of each feature and explores optimal strategies for harnessing cfDNA ...

Fuzzy goal programming approach for solving linear fractional programming problems with fuzzy conditions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Fuzzy Extension and Applications
Predicting the exact outcome of a real-life problem, which may occur in various fields like the industrial or healthcare sector, is challenging. Due to high information uncertainty and complicated factors influencing the industrial sector, traditional ...

An SDP Approach For Solving Quadratic Fractional Programming Problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This paper considers a fractional programming problem (P) which minimizes a ratio of quadratic functions subject to a two-sided quadratic constraint. As is well-known, the fractional objective function can be replaced by a parametric family of quadratic ...

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Multiparametric linear fractional functionals programming

open access: yesTrabajos de Investigacion Operativa, 1989
Summary: A multiparametric linear fractional functionals program, with parameters appearing only in the objective function, is generated. The optimum solution of this parametric program is supposed to satisfy the constraints as equations only. It is also shown that the set of parameters forms a convex polyhedron.
