Oscillation of high order linear functional differential equation with impulses

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2005
We study the solutions to high-order linear functional differential equations with impulses. We improve previous results in the oscillation theory for ordinary differential equations and obtain new criteria on the oscillation of solutions.

On the Cauchy problem for singular functional differential equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2017
Sharp sufficient conditions for the solvability of the Cauchy problem for linear singular functional differential equations are obtained.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Stability of linear functional differential systems with multivalued delay feedback

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2007
We consider a controlled linear functional differential system with linear feedback without delay and assume that the closed system is exponentially stable.

Exponential stability for abstract linear autonomous functional differential equations with infinite delay

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1998
Based on our preceding paper, this note is concerned with the exponential stability of the solution semigroup for the abstract linear autonomous functional differential equation x˙(t)=L(xt)                              (∗) where L is a continuous linear ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

On periodic solutions of systems of linear functional-differential equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
summary:This paper deals with the system of functional-differential equations \[ \frac{dx(t)}{dt}=p(x)(t)+q(t), \] where $p:C_\omega ({R}^n)\rightarrow L_\omega ({R}^n)$ is a linear bounded operator, $q\in L_\omega ({R}^n)$, $\omega >0$ and $C_\omega ({R}

Linear Hamiltonian behaviors and bilinear differential forms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
We study linear Hamiltonian systems using bilinear and quadratic differential forms. Such a representation-free approach allows us to use the same concepts and techniques to deal with systems isolated from their environment and with systems subject to ...

C2α‐carbanion‐protonating glutamate discloses tradeoffs between substrate accommodation and reaction rate in actinobacterial 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,
