Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

In this article we study a class of stochastic functional differential equations driven by L\'{e}vy processes (in particular, $\alpha$-stable processes), and obtain the existence and uniqueness of Markov solutions in small time intervals.

Non-Perturbative Completion of Hopf-Algebraic Dyson-Schwinger Equations
For certain quantum field theories, the Kreimer-Connes Hopf-algebraic approach to renormalization reduces the Dyson-Schwinger equations to a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations for the expansion coefficients of the renormalized Green's ...

Mapping the evolution of mitochondrial complex I through structural variation
Respiratory complex I (CI) is crucial for bioenergetic metabolism in many prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of a conserved set of core subunits and additional accessory subunits that vary depending on the organism. Here, we categorize CI subunits from available structures to map the evolution of CI across eukaryotes. Respiratory complex I (CI)

Distributional and entire solutions of ordinary differential and functional differential equations
A brief survey of recent results on distributional and entire solutions of ordinary differential equations (ODE) and functional differential equations (FDE) is given. Emphasis is made on linear equations with polynomial coefficients.

On Singular Solutions of Linear Functional Differential Equations with Negative Coefficients
The problem on solutions with specified growth for linear functional differential equations with negative coefficients is treated by using two-sided monotone iterations. New theorems on the existence and localisation of such solutions are established.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Solving simple quaternionic differential equations [PDF]
The renewed interest in investigating quaternionic quantum mechanics, in particular tunneling effects, and the recent results on quaternionic differential operators motivate the study of resolution methods for quaternionic differential equations. In this
