Multi-Criteria Coverage Map Construction Based on Adaptive Triangulation-Induced Interpolation for Cellular Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Wireless cellular communications lead to huge demands for estimating and visualizing the data about Quality of Service (QoS) for mobile network operators in the 5th Generation (5G) networks.

Non-linear Approximation and Interpolation Spaces

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 2001
The paper studies \(n\)-term wavelet approximation in Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces. In terms of interpolation spaces, the spaces of functions with prescribed degree of \(n\)-term approximation are characterized. Using these results, the author identifies the interpolation spaces between Tribel-Lizorkin and Besov spaces.

Craig Interpolation for Linear Temporal Languages [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We study Craig interpolation for fragments and extensions of propositional linear temporal logic (PLTL). We consider various fragments of PLTLobtained by restricting the set of temporal connectives and, for each of these fragments, we identify its smallest extension that has Craig interpolation.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

A Multi-Step PM2.5 Time Series Forecasting Approach for Mining Areas Using Last Day Observed, Correlation-Based Retrieval, and Interpolation

open access: yesComputers
Monitoring PM2.5 in mining areas is essential for air quality management; however, most studies focus on single-step forecasts, limiting timely decision making.

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Methodology for the Differential Classification of Dengue and Chikungunya According to the PAHO 2022 Diagnostic Guide

open access: yesViruses
Arboviruses such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya present similar symptoms in the early stages, which complicates their differential and timely diagnosis. In 2022, the PAHO published a guide to address this challenge. This study proposes a methodological
