Linear Interpolation on a Tetrahedron
Proceedings of the Steklov Institute of Mathematics, 2020In this paper the author studies linear interpolation on a tetraedron of a function with second-order partial derivatives limited. He also studies certain estimates of the first derivatives of the given interpolator function and compares these results with those already known on this subject.

The analysis and synthesis filters of linear prediction theory are extended to include linear interpolation. A noncausal lattice filter for linear interpolation is obtained from the linear interpolation recursion. The results provide insight into the interrelation of prediction and interpolation and of one- and two-sided representations of one ...

Linear and Nonlinear Interpolators
IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers, 1963When diode selection circuits are fed with signals that vary linearly with an input variable, they produce as output a convex or concave function consisting of one linear section per diode. In the present circuits, by combining each diode with a suitable series ``interpolating'' resistor, and feeding the output connection with constant current, it is ...

A new non-linear view interpolation algorithm is presented in this paper. Unlike the linear interpolation scheme, our method can exactly simulate the perspective viewing transformation during walkthrough. To accelerate the view interpolation, the algorithm employs a binary subdivision scheme to optimize the decomposition of the source image so that the

Incremental linear interpolation
ACM Transactions on Graphics, 1985Two incremental linear interpolation algorithms are derived and analyzed for speed and accuracy. The first is a version of a “simple” digital differential analyzer (DDA) employing fixed-point arithmetic, whereas the second is a new algorithm that uses only integral arithmetic and is a generalization of Bresenham's line-drawing algorithm.

Phase Interpolator with Improved Linearity
Circuits, Systems, and Signal Processing, 2015An analog phase interpolator with improved step linearity is presented in this paper. The linearity is improved by setting the time constant of the output nodes in suitable value and by employing a fine trimming technique. The performance and the improved linearity have been verified with post-layout simulations using a well-established CMOS 65 nm ...

Improving Interpolants for Linear Arithmetic
2015Craig interpolation for satisfiability modulo theory formulas have come more into focus for applications of formal verification. In this paper we, introduce a method to reduce the size of linear constraints used in the description of already computed interpolant in the theory of linear arithmetic with respect to the number of linear constraints.

Some large field digital radiography systems are currently under development using multiple detectors. These small size two dimension detectors are abutted together to cover a large field. Physical gaps existing between adjacent detectors produce seams between the resultant subimages.

Interpolants for Linear Arithmetic in SMT
2008The linear arithmetic solver in Yices was specifically designed for SMT provers, providing fast support for operations like adding and deleting constraints. We give a procedure for developing interpolants based on the results of the Yices arithmetic solver.
