Vascular Patterning in Morphea Mimicking a Capillary Malformation: Case Report and Review of the Literature

open access: yesPediatric Dermatology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Early, inflammatory morphea can rarely mimic an acquired capillary malformation (CM), and emerging evidence suggests that endothelial injury may precede fibrosis in morphea, with vascular abnormalities driving immune recruitment and fibroblast activation.

Morphea, Eosinophilic Fasciitis and Cancer: A Scoping Review

open access: yes, 2023
Morphea is an autoimmune fibrotic skin disease. Eosinophilic fasciitis (EF) is considered to belong to the severe spectrum of morphea. We conducted a scoping review assessing the risk of secondary cancer among morphea/EF patients, paraneoplastic morphea ...

Targeting Ero1L by Parthenolide Alleviates Cellular Senescence and Fibrosis of Localized Scleroderma by Regulating Mitochondria‐Associated Endoplasmic Reticulum Membranes Stabilization

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 10, October 2026.
PTL inhibits cell senescence and alleviates fibrosis of Los by regulating Ero1L‐mediated mitochondria‐associated endoplasmic reticulum membranes stabilization. ABSTRACT Mitochondrial dysfunction drives scleroderma pathogenesis. The mitochondria‐associated endoplasmic reticulum membrane (MAM) regulates mitochondrial function.

Post‐Radiation Granuloma Annulare: A Series of Three Cases

open access: yesJEADV Clinical Practice, Volume 5, Issue 3, Page 956-958, September 2026.
ABSTRACT We report typical cases of biopsy confirmed granuloma annulare occurring on irradiated skin in the context of breast cancer in three women in their seventies. The lesions appeared immediately after start of irradiation in one patient, 4 and 15 months after the end of radiation treatment in the other two. The lesions eventually spread elsewhere
