Iterative Methods for Computing the Resolvent of Composed Operators in Hilbert Spaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The resolvent is a fundamental concept in studying various operator splitting algorithms. In this paper, we investigate the problem of computing the resolvent of compositions of operators with bounded linear operators.

On the Monotonicity of Positive Linear Operators

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 1998
AbstractWe provide sufficient conditions for a sequence of positive linear approximation operators,Ln(f,x), converging tof(x) from above to imply the convexity off. We show that, for the convolution operators of Feller type,Kn(f,x), generated by a sequence of iid random variables taking values in an intervalI, having a finite moment generating function,

Elucidating prognostic significance of purine metabolism in colorectal cancer through integrating data from transcriptomic, immunohistochemical, and single‐cell RNA sequencing analysis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.

Fuzzy Subordination Results for Meromorphic Functions Connected with a Linear Operator

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The concept of subordination is expanded in this study from the fuzzy sets theory to the geometry theory of analytic functions with a single complex variable.

A Voronovskaya-type theorem for a positive linear operator

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
We consider a sequence of positive linear operators which approximates continuous functions having exponential growth at infinity.

Hypoelliptic estimates for linear transport operators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2020
We aim at understanding how the non-commutation phenomena between a linear transport operator and a fractional diffusion allow the transport operator to satisfy hypoelliptic estimates on the whole space. Such hypoelliptic estimates are obtained for a large class of linear transport operators by using the classical multiplier method. The main motivation

Differential sandwich theorems for higher-order derivatives of p-valent functions involving a generalized differential operator

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2014
In the present article, we obtain some applications of first order differential subordination, superordination and sandwich results for higher-order derivatives of p-valent functions involving a generalized differential operator.
