In recent years there has been an increased interest in the study of mathematics applied to engineering to study aspects of its teaching. In the present research work, a compilation of analytical concepts of differential equations applied to the solution of problems of electrical circuits, a branch of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are widely used to model the dynamic behavior of a complex system. Parameter estimation and variable selection for a "Big System" with linear ODEs are very challenging due to the need of nonlinear optimization in an ultra-high dimensional parameter space.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Locally Exact Integrators for the Duffing Equation
A numerical scheme is said to be locally exact if after linearization (around any point) it becomes exact. In this paper, we begin with a short review on exact and locally exact integrators for ordinary differential equations.

AbstractThis paper is concerned with linear systems of ordinary differential equations. A criterion for integral separation in terms of exponential dichotomy is given. As corollaries we obtain the roughness theorem for integral separation and the new result that an upper triangular system on a half-line is integrally separated if and only if the system

An Implicit Two-Point Numerical Integration Formula for Linear and Nonlinear Stiff Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations [PDF]
In [1], the author proposed a semi-implicit one-step integration formula which effectively copes with linear systems of ordinary differential equations with widely varying eigenvalues. The integration algorithm is based on a local representation of the theoretical solution to the initial value problem by a linear combination of exponential functions ...

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Geometric Linearization of Ordinary Differential Equations
The linearizability of differential equations was first considered by Lie for scalar second order semi-linear ordinary differential equations. Since then there has been considerable work done on the algebraic classification of linearizable equations and ...
