Flight evaluation of simultaneous actuator/sensor fault reconstruction on a quadrotor minidrone
In view of the increase in the number of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in the commercial and private sectors, it is imperative to make sure that such systems are safe, and thus resilient to faults and failures. This paper considers the numerical design

Switching control methods have great potential applications in flight control system design. However, nonsmooth control commands at switching instants could lead to performance degradations or bring in safety risks. This paper presents a smooth switching

Performance Optimization with LPV Synthesis for Disturbance Attenuation in Planar Motors
Optimizing the performance of motion control systems with variations in nonlinear parameters is not an easy task. To accomplish this task, it is important to design the controller using the linear system approach.

Analysis and Controller Design for Parameter Varying T-S Fuzzy Systems with Markov Jump
In this paper, we investigate a novel T-S fuzzy parameter varying system with Markov jump, in which parameters depend not only on a Markov chain but also on linear parameter varying elements that take values in convex polytopic sets.

AF trigger sites exhibited a markedly shorter minimum local cycle length during ongoing AF, suggesting transient rapid activity. Ultra‐high‐resolution mapping during ongoing AF may provide complementary mechanistic information when conventional trigger mapping is inconclusive.

Thoracoscopic epicardial AF ablation in heart failure improved LV systolic function irrespective of left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO). Concomitant surgical LAAO was associated with fewer LPV reconnections without worsening postoperative diastolic function, while atrial tachyarrhythmia recurrence was similar between groups.

ABSTRACT This work proposes a new framework for stabilizing uncertain linear systems and for determining robust periodic invariant sets and their associated control laws for constrained uncertain linear systems. Necessary and sufficient conditions for stabilizability by periodic controllers are stated and proven using finite step Lyapunov functions for

An adaptive observer design approach for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems
We consider the problem of joint estimation of states and some constant parameters for a class of nonlinear discrete-time systems. This class contains systems that could be transformed into a quasi-LPV (linear parameter varying) polytopic model in the ...
