The Kashaev and quantum hyperbolic link invariants
We show that the link invariants derived from 3-dimensional quantum hyperbolic geometry can be defined by means of planar state sums based on link diagrams and a new family of enhanced Yang-Baxter operators (YBO) that we compute explicitly.

This study explored how effective nickel aluminide coatings are obtained in providing oxidation resistance applied to the Inconel 738 alloy, modeling with diffusion models. In the present study, kinetics and thermal behavior of the Inconel 738 alloy were studied by the low‐temperature thermoreactive aluminizing process, which was carried out at 625°C ...

An Adaptable and Extensible Geometry Kernel
Geometric algorithms are based on geometric objects such as points, lines and circles. The term \textit{Kernel\/} refers to a collection of representations for constant-size geometric objects and operations on these representations.

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

Weakest link epistasis and the geometry of genetic load
Abstract Because natural selection must optimise multiple traits at once, previous work has suggested that phenotypic dimensionality can substantially worsen the equilibrium fitness defect of a population relative to the phenotypic optimum.

Prop profile of bi-Hamiltonian structures
Recently S. A. Merkulov established a link between differential geometry and homological algebra by giving descriptions of several differential geometric structures in terms of minimal resolutions of props.

A Compact Spin‐Coated Graphene UWB Antenna for Breast Tumor Detection
A compact, spin‐coated graphene ultra‐wideband patch antenna designed for breast tumor detection, capable of distinguishing between malignant and benign tumors. This innovative antenna can serve as an effective initial screening tool, particularly in resource‐limited settings such as rural areas, where access to advanced medical equipment like MRI and ...

Link Floer homology detects the Thurston norm [PDF]
We prove that, for a link L in a rational homology 3–sphere, the link Floer homology detects the Thurston norm of its complement. This result has been proved by Ozsváth and Szabó for links in S^3.

Geometry and Numerics of CMC Surfaces with Radial Metrics
Thsi paper investigates the geometry of non-zero constant mean curvature surfaces with radial metric, putting an emphasis on the link between the Hopf differential and the extrinsic geometry.
