Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Linked Timelines: Temporal Representation and Management in Linked Data
This paper addresses the issue of representing time entities (i.e. instants and intervals) as Linked Data, and how to exploit topological temporal relationships in order to increase the connectivity degree within Linked Data sets.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Provenance in Linked Data Integration
The open world of the (Semantic) Web is a global information space offering diverse materials of disparate qualities, and the opportunity to re-use, aggregate, and integrate these materials in novel ways. The advent of Linked Data brings the potential to

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
