Automated Near Real‐Time QC for LC‐HRMS

open access: yesRapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, Volume 40, Issue 10, 30 May 2026.
ABSTRACT Rationale The quality of analytical measurements is typically evaluated after completion of the entire, or possibly multiple, measurement batch(es). Automated, near real‐time quality control (QC) during LC‐HRMS acquisition can prevent reruns and sample loss by flagging issues as they occur.

Crustal Responses to the Destruction of Continental Lithosphere: Insights From Radial Anisotropy of the Tanlu Fault Zone, Eastern China

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 9, 16 May 2026.
Abstract Since the Mesozoic, much of the eastern China lithosphere was removed through thermo‐mechanical erosion and delamination, yet the effects on the overlying crust remain unclear. The Tanlu Fault Zone (TLFZ), the region's largest lithosphere‐scale weakness, offers a natural laboratory to assess crustal responses to lithospheric destruction.

Performance Evaluation of Privacy Models for Data Streams on the Edge

open access: yesInternet Technology Letters, Volume 9, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Recent advances in edge computing enable data stream privacy enforcement directly on resource‐constrained devices, reducing latency and the exposure of sensitive information. In this paper, we extend and validate our previously proposed privacy‐enforcing framework, which allows high‐level privacy policies to be expressed as chains of triggers ...

ChemBang: Expanding the Chemical Space Around Small Molecules

open access: yesMolecular Informatics, Volume 45, Issue 5, May 2026.
Schematic diagram of the underlying concepts behind ChemBang and the molecular generation process from a seed molecular structure by applying the three main categories of chemical transformations, namely, interchange of small substituents, replacement of ring systems, and scaffold enlargement by additional ring systems.

copick: An open dataset interface and toolkit for collaborative annotation and analysis of cryo‐electron tomography data

open access: yesProtein Science, Volume 35, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Cryo‐electron tomography (cryoET) enables visualization of macromolecular complexes within intact cellular environments. Continued improvements in instrumentation, sample preparation, and data‐processing pipelines have increased both the scale and the complexity of cryoET datasets, making manual analysis challenging.
