Cellular and Humoral Immune Responses to Noncanonical Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli Virulence Factors

Circulating antigen‐reactive CD4+ T cells and antibody responses in serum and lavage against the ETEC noncanonical virulence factors EatA, EtpA, and YghJ were found in volunteers experimentally infected with ETEC. This documents the immunogenicity of these antigens and supports their further evaluation as ETEC vaccine candidates.

Impacts of M. oleifera Leaf Extract on Weight Loss, the Metabolomic Profile, and the Intestinal Microbiota in Individuals With Simple Obesity

Protective Effects of Luteolin Against Cisplatin‐Induced Hepatic and Renal Toxicity: Biochemical and Cellular Evidence

Cisplatin induces oxidative stress and hepatotoxicity, as evidenced by increased serum biomarkers and oxidative damage parameters. Luteolin, derived from Pistacia terebinthus, mitigates these effects by enhancing antioxidant defense systems and improving cell viability in cancer cell lines.

Lcn2 Promotes Ferroptosis in Intracerebral Hemorrhage by Targeting Keap1 Tyr572 and Restricting Nrf2 Activation

This study reveals that Lcn2 regulates ferroptosis after ICH via the Keap1/Nrf2 axis. Neuronal Lcn2 deletion reduces lipid peroxidation, restores mitochondrial function, and improves ferroptosis. Keap1 Tyr572Ala mutant acts as a molecular switch whose effects invert with Lcn2 status.
