Aortic dissection (AD) is accompanied by a decrease in CCDC80 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). CCDC80 can interact with JAK2, and VSMC‐specific CCDC80 deficiency accelerates the progression of AD by activating the JAK2/STAT3 pathway involved in regulating the phenotype switching and function of VSMCs.

Lipid content and lipoprotein lipase activity in skeletal muscle of lactating and weaned rats
The aim of the investigation was to study the changes in lipid content and lipoprotein lipase (LPL) activity of skeletal muscle of lactating and weaned rats, in order to gain insight on the role of skeletal muscle in the metabolism of triacylglycerols ...

An Update: Enzymatic Synthesis for Industrial Applications
Biocatalysis has become a sustainable and cost‐competitive alternative to established chemical synthesis, enabling the enzyme‐based production of not only commodity chemicals but (non‐natural) amino acids, (rare) sugars, as well as synthetic nucleotides.
