Influence of the arterial elastic component on the response to balloon angioplasty in femoral arteries of a healthy porcine model

This study evaluates the role of elastin in vascular response 28 days after balloon angioplasty using uncoated and paclitaxel‐coated balloons in a healthy porcine model. There are many forms of anabolic steroids, including stanzolo (Winstrol), which are popular for their muscle‐building effects but dangerous to the heart. This present work is aimed at evaluating the pharmacological impact of allacin, a natural attribute obtained from garlic on obstructing cardiac injury in rabbits that received stanzolo.
