Polymers at Liquid/Vapor Interface [PDF]
Polymers confined to the liquid/vapor interface are studied using molecular dynamics simulations. We show that for polymers which are weakly immiscible with the solvent, the density profile perpendicular to the liquid/vapor interface is strongly asymmetric.

Theory of Liquid—Liquid Interface of Polymer Systems [PDF]
Top of pageAbstract A theory for the interfacial tension and interface thickness of demixed polymer mixtures and polymer solutions is presented on the basis of the theory of Cahn and Hilliard, taking into account the change in the dimension of polymer coil at the interface.

Study of the dynamic formation of transmission gratings recorded in photopolymers and holographic polymer-dispersed liquid crystals [PDF]
Local and nonlocal models for the diffusion of photopolymers are applied to the dynamic formation of transmission gratings recorded in photopolymers and holographic polymer-dispersed liquid crystals (H-PDLCs). We retrieve the main parameters of H-PDLCs (

Light-activated modulation and coupling in integrated polymer-liquid crystal systems [PDF]
We explore the transfer of an incident light pattern onto the liquid crystal (LC) bulk in a photorefractive cell through an integrated photoconducting layer that modulates the electric field applied to the device.
