This paper studies the strategies used by the Church to fight against the storm‐makers. These figures were said to cause the storms that ruined crops, and during Late Antiquity and the early Middle Ages in the Visigothic and Frankish kingdoms were subject to punishment and constraints.

Defining and decoding skin glow of women with skin phototype IV+ living in South Africa: Part 1

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cosmetic Science, Volume 48, Issue 2, Page 467-475, April 2026.
This study is the first to decode glowing skin for African women with phototype IV+. It reveals that radiant, smooth and healthy‐looking skin is key attributes for glowing skin. By analysing consumer terminology, routines and hinderances, our findings provide a foundation for developing skincare solutions tailored to these unique needs.
