Benchmarking Large Language Models for Polymer Property Predictions
Large language models (LLMs) are fine‐tuned on polymer thermal property datasets to directly predict glass transition, melting, and decomposition temperatures from SMILES inputs. Compared to state‐of‐the‐art models such as Polymer Genome, polyGNN, and polyBERT, LLMs achieve competitive yet lower accuracy.

ABSTRACT Background Several studies show that large language models (LLMs) struggle with phenotype‐driven gene prioritization for rare diseases. These studies typically use Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) terms to prompt foundation models such as GPT and LLaMA to predict candidate genes.

Magic Bullets from Llamas [PDF]
Monoclonal antibodies are effective therapies for many disorders, but their nature and use continues to evolve as technologies emerge to improve their drug-like qualities. In this issue of Structure, Schmitz and colleagues report on structural and biophysical characterizations of single-domain "nanobodies" from llamas that target the epidermal growth ...
