ISOLLE: LLE with geodesic distance

Neurocomputing, 2006
We propose an extension of the algorithm for nonlinear dimensional reduction locally linear embedding (LLE) based on the usage of the geodesic distance (ISOLLE). In LLE, each data point is reconstructed from a linear combination of its n nearest neighbors, which are typically found using the Euclidean distance. We show that the search for the neighbors

The UNIFAC-LLE and COSMO-SAC ternary aqueous LLE calculations

Fluid Phase Equilibria, 2019
Abstract The reliable description of a liquid-liquid equilibrium system is irrefragably important, given that liquid-liquid equilibrium has several important applications in industry, such as the extraction of propionic acid, reactant of esterification reaction for thermoplastics production, the removal of congeners of bioethanol through the ...

A noise-insensitive LLE algorithm

9th IEEE International Conference on Cognitive Informatics (ICCI'10), 2010
The core idea of LLE is that high-dimensional data can be seen near-linear dependency from the local perspective. That is, at a local scale, a data point can be linear representation by its nearest neighbor interpolation, but for noisy data, its local linear representation will produce deviations, as result, the error of dimension reduction is greater.
