LDR-LLE: LLE with Low-Dimensional Neighborhood Representation

2008
The local linear embedding algorithm (LLE) is a non-linear dimension-reducing technique that is widely used for its computational simplicity and intuitive approach. LLE first linearly reconstructs each input point from its nearest neighbors and then preserves these neighborhood relations in a low-dimensional embedding.

Breast MRI data analysis by LLE

2004 IEEE International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37541), 2005
Locally linear embedding (LLE) has recently been proposed as a powerful algorithm for unsupervised learning and dimensional data reduction. For a first time we apply LLE to a problem of medical data analysis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is considered as an essential imaging modality in the detection and classification of breast cancer.

Dimensionality reduction for text using LLE

2008 International Conference on Natural Language Processing and Knowledge Engineering, 2008
Dimensionality reduction is a necessary preprocessing step in many fields of information processing such as information retrieval, pattern recognition and data compression. Its goal is to discover the representative or the discriminative information residing in raw data.

Research Methods for LLE

2015
This chapter outlines features and relative strengths and weaknesses of research methods used to study literature in language education, with example studies. More ethnographic and qualitative studies of literature in language education are advocated because of the relative neglect till now of student perspectives on LLE.

Guide to Resources for Research in LLE

2005
Access to a good library, probably a university library, will always be a good supplement to or even substitute for more direct professional contacts, and is assumed in much of what follows. Your institution or employer should help you with any fees or charges.

Gestures recognition based on wavelet and LLE

Australasian Physical & Engineering Sciences in Medicine, 2013
Wavelet analysis is a time-frequency, non-stationary method while the largest Lyapunov exponent (LLE) is used to judge the non-linear characteristic of systems. Because surface electromyography signal (SEMGS) is a complex signal that is characterized by non-stationary and non-linear properties.

X-Ray Laser Studies At LLE

SPIE Proceedings, 1988
New target geometries for collisional excitation X-ray laser experiments (in nickel) were proposed, analyzed, and experimentally studied on the glass development laser. The new geometries are designed to yield a higher gain and reduced refraction due to (1) a higher plasma density, (2) a wide lateral density profile, and (3) a concave lateral density ...

lle-lfe, Nigeria

1997
Abstract Ile-Ife is an ancient town, and its inhabitants have a long tradition of eating food on the street, which is sold predominantly by women who are culturally bound to support their own children in this land of non-pooling household budgets.

LLE based gait recognition

2005 International Conference on Machine Learning and Cybernetics, 2005
LLE based human gait recognition method is proposed. LLE representation is based on the similarity of images and is inherent translation, rotation and scale invariant, so LLE representation of gait sequences can be viewed as a kind of dynamic features of gait.
