LLM magnons [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2016
We consider excitations of LLM geometries described by coloring the LLM plane with concentric black rings. Certain closed string excitations are localized at the edges of these rings. The string theory predictions for the energies of magnon excitations of these strings depends on the radii of the edges of the rings.

Exciting LLM geometries [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
AbstractWe study excitations of LLM geometries. These geometries arise from the backreaction of a condensate of giant gravitons. Excitations of the condensed branes are open strings, which give rise to an emergent Yang-Mills theory at low energy. We study the dynamics of the planar limit of these emergent gauge theories, accumulating evidence that they

Fomin-Greene monoids and Pieri operations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We explore monoids generated by operators on certain infinite partial orders. Our starting point is the work of Fomin and Greene on monoids satisfying the relations $(\u{r}+\u{r+1})\u{r+1}\u{r}=\u{r+1}\u{r}(\u{r}+\u{r+1})$ and $\u{r}\u{t}=\u{s}\u{r}$ if $

ACE16K: The Third Generation of Mixed-Signal SIMD-CNN ACE Chips Toward VSoCs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Today, with 0.18-μm technologies mature and stable enough for mixed-signal design with a large variety of CMOS compatible optical sensors available and with 0.09-μm technologies knocking at the door of designers, we can face the design of integrated ...

LLMs + Persona-Plug = Personalized LLMs

open access: yesProceedings of the 63rd Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (Volume 1: Long Papers)
Personalization plays a critical role in numerous language tasks and applications, since users with the same requirements may prefer diverse outputs based on their individual interests. This has led to the development of various personalized approaches aimed at adapting large language models (LLMs) to generate customized outputs aligned with user ...

LLM-Vectorizer: LLM-Based Verified Loop Vectorizer

open access: yesProceedings of the 23rd ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Code Generation and Optimization
Vectorization is a powerful optimization technique that significantly boosts the performance of high performance computing applications operating on large data arrays. Despite decades of research on auto-vectorization, compilers frequently miss opportunities to vectorize code.
