An L-shaped association between lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio and erectile dysfunction in NHANES 2001–2004

open access: yesScientific Reports
This study aimed to explore the relationship between the lymphocyte/monocyte ratio (LMR) and erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men in the United States using a comprehensive dataset.

A systemic model for lossy mode resonances (LMRs)

open access: yesOptics & Laser Technology
Lossy mode resonances (LMRs) have been widely employed for the development of sensors in the last years. However, the theoretical frameworks for LMRs are scarce and difficult to systematize, hampering the development of this technology. In this work, we propose a new systemic model for assessing LMRs in arbitrary waveguide configurations, based solely ...

Clinical outcomes of the chemo‐free approach in relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma: A network meta‐analysis

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Graphical overview of the network meta‐analysis (NMA) evaluating chemo‐free approaches for relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma (R/R FL). Epcoritamab plus rituximab (R2) achieved the highest cumulative ranking probability (SUCRA) across efficacy end‐points but increases the risk of predictable toxicity over anti‐CD20 monotherapy.

Second primary cancers in lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenström macroglobulinaemia—cumulative burden without generalized excess cancer risk

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
Summary Second primary cancers (SPCs) are a survivorship concern in lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma/Waldenström macroglobulinaemia (LPL/WM), but estimates may be influenced by competing mortality and surveillance. We assessed cumulative incidence, relative risk and predictors of SPCs. We studied 521 patients diagnosed with LPL/WM in Region Zealand, Denmark,

Skeletal‐Driven Animation of Anatomical Humans via Neural Deformation Gradients

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Most real‐time animation techniques for digital humans are limited to deforming the outer skin surface. Geometric skinning methods are highly efficient but struggle with artifacts such as collapsing joints or self‐intersections when animating inner anatomy along with the outer skin.

Non‐Rigid 3D Shape Correspondences: From Foundations to Open Challenges and Opportunities

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Estimating correspondences between deformed shape instances is a long‐standing problem in computer graphics; numerous applications, from texture transfer to statistical modelling, rely on recovering an accurate correspondence map. Many methods have thus been proposed to tackle this challenging problem from varying perspectives, depending on ...

Thermally Assisted SnO₂ LMR Gas Sensing

open access: yesSensors and Actuators B: Chemical
An SnO₂-based lossy mode resonance (LMR) optical gas sensor was developed and systematically characterized to assess operating temperature as a tunable parameter governing sensitivity and humidity cross-sensitivity. Thermally annealed SnO₂ thin films exhibited improved crystallinity, resulting in sharper and more stable resonance features.

Establishing Shape Correspondences: A Survey

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract Shape correspondence between surfaces in 3D is a central problem in geometry processing, concerned with establishing meaningful relations between surfaces. While all correspondence problems share this goal, specific formulations can differ significantly: Downstream applications require certain properties that correspondences must satisfy ...

Arti4D: Statistical Analysis and Modelling of the Spatio‐temporal Variability in Articulated 4D Shapes

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We propose a novel framework for the statistical modeling and analysis of the spatio‐temporal shape variability in articulated 4D (i.e., 3D + time) shapes such as human bodies and animals. We treat articulated 3D shapes, represented using parametric models such as SMPL or its variants, as elements of the product space of shape and pose ...
