The Load-Frequency-Control (LFC) of the Energie-Versorgung Schwaben AG (EVS)
Abstract As one of the nine interconnected utilities in Germany EVS operates an own LFC since April 1st, 1990. The autonomous control system is equipped with an own telemetry system and besides the control task it also covers some additional functions like monitoring the hydraulic plants, recording and disturbance diagnosis.
