Phase Detection and Modulation Improvement for Active Load Modulation during Continuous Transmission [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2021
The paper covers one of the communication technologies used in wireless sensor networks. We have presented improvements in existing radio frequency identification (RFID) systems to address the problem of the phase selection in active load modulation (ALM)

A Dynamic Load Modulation Power Amplifier with Ferroelectric-Based Tunable Matching Network [PDF]

open access: yesSensors
Power amplifiers are crucial components that significantly influence the linearity and energy efficiency of next-generation communication system radio units. A key challenge in designing power amplifiers is managing high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR)

Detection of Cognitive Load Modulation by EDA and HRV. [PDF]

open access: yesSensors (Basel)
Electrodermal activity (EDA) and heart rate variability (HRV) offer opportunities to grasp critical manifestations of the nervous autonomic system using low-intrusive sensing tools. A key question relies on the capacity to adequately process EDA and HRV signals to extract cognitive load markers, a multifaceted construct with intricate neural networks ...

Temporal shift in task factor influence across the stretch reflex. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Mechanical perturbations applied to the arm can elicit reflexive actions. These rapid corrective responses include the stretch reflex, which consists of different components: the short-latency reflex (SLR) and the early and late long-latency reflex (LLR).

Load-Induced Modulation of Signal Transduction Networks [PDF]

open access: yesScience Signaling, 2011
The presence of downstream partners that interact with enzymatically modified or unmodified signaling proteins changes the dynamics of signal transduction.

Coordinated Frequency Modulation Control Strategy of Wind Power and Energy Storage Considering Mechanical Load Optimization

open access: yesEnergies
When a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) participates in primary frequency modulation by rotor kinetic energy control, the torque of the generator is changed sharply and the mechanical load pressure of the shaft increases rapidly, which aggravates ...

Dynamic load modulation

open access: yes, 2007
The purpose of this master thesis was to study if the drain efficiency of power amplifiers can be maintained at power back off using a technique called load modulation. The amplifier classes studied are E, F and D-1. The target figure was to obtain a 10 to 12 dB dynamic range of amplitude with reasonable efficiency.

Design of a Load Modulated Balanced Amplifier with a Two-Stage Control Power Amplifier [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electromagnetic Engineering and Science, 2023
While an ideal Doherty power amplifier has a linear response, the load modulated balanced amplifier (LMBA) has a compressive response under ideal conditions.

Development Review of Highly Efficient Sequential Power Amplifier with Extended Back-Off Range for Broadband Application

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Similar to a Doherty power amplifier (DPA), a sequential power amplifier (SPA) is mainly composed of a main amplifier, an auxiliary amplifier and a combiner.

A Dual Load-Modulated Doherty Power Amplifier Design Method for Improving Power Back-Off Efficiency

open access: yesSensors, 2023
In this paper, the load modulation process of a Doherty power amplifier (DPA) is analyzed to address the issue of why designed DPAs have a very low efficiency in the back-off state in some cases.
