Response Spectrum Solutions for Blast Loading
Existing knowledge on the modelling of blast pressure have been further developed in this paper for engineering applications. Parametric studies involving time-history analyses of simple cantilevered wall models have been undertaken based on pre-defined pressure functions to study basic trends. The "corner period" of the velocity response spectrum was

Selective Attention and Perceptual Load in Autism Spectrum Disorder [PDF]
It has been suggested that the locus of selective attention (early vs. late in processing) is dependent on the perceptual load of the task. When perceptual load is low, irrelevant distractors are processed (late selection), whereas when perceptual load is high, distractor interference disappears (early selection).

ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

Comparison of the Flight Loads Spectra of Two Business Jets
Operational flight loads have been analyzed from two business jets, a Global 5000 and a Global Express XRS. It is shown that both airframes were subjected to nearly the same number of ground-air-ground cycles, even though the flight times were much ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
