Two-Phase Bubble Columns: A Comprehensive Review
We present a comprehensive literature review on the two-phase bubble column; in this review we deeply analyze the flow regimes, the flow regime transitions, the local and global fluid dynamics parameters, and the mass transfer phenomena.

Local Flow Matching Generative Models
Flow Matching (FM) is a simulation-free method for learning a continuous, invertible flow that interpolates between two distributions, and in particular generates data from noise. Inspired by the variational nature of the diffusion process as a gradient flow, we introduce a stepwise FM model, Local Flow Matching (LFM), which sequentially learns a ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Some Mathematical Examples of Emergent Intuitive Local Time Flow
After reviewing important historical and present day ideas about the concept of time, we develop some instances of mathematical examples where, from the interaction of concepts that model interactions of things in the observable world, time flow emerges ...

Local blood flow analysis and visualization from RGB-video sequences
The extraction of heart rate and other vital parameters from video recordings of a person has attracted much attention over the last years. In this paper, we examine time differences between distinct spatial regions using remote photoplethysmography ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in blood before surgery may help predict outcomes in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Here, we show when combined with tumor size and lymph node involvement from routine imaging, CTC status identifies high‐risk patients with poorer survival—offering a simple, minimally invasive tool ...
