Parallel BVH Construction Using Locally Density Clustering
A novel bounding volume hierarchy (BVH) construction method based on locally dense clustering (LDC) was proposed for the low quality of BVH constructed in a complex scene with uneven distribution of primitives.

AVL-trees for localized search
We present a data structure based on AVL-trees which allows an insertion or a deletion to be performed in time O(log d), where d is the distance of the position searched for from a finger which points to the end of the file. Moving a finger to a distance d costs O(log d).

AbstractImprovement methods constitute the backbone of most metaheuristics. These methods repeatedly perform slight, local modifications on a current solution to the problem. Hence, for any solution, a set of neighbor solutions must be defined. Clearly, the definition of this set depends on the problem modeling. However, a natural neighborhood may turn

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

A Monarch Butterfly Optimization for the Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem
The dynamic vehicle routing problem (DVRP) is a variant of the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) in which customers appear dynamically. The objective is to determine a set of routes that minimizes the total travel distance.

On the Cryptographic Hardness of Local Search.
We show new hardness results for the class of Polynomial Local Search problems (PLS): - Hardness of PLS based on a falsifiable assumption on bilinear groups introduced by Kalai, Paneth, and Yang (STOC 2019), and the Exponential Time Hypothesis for randomized algorithms.

Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐

Improved Differential Evolution Algorithm to Solve the Advertising Method Selection Problem
This article proposes a methodology to resolve the advertising method selection problem (AdSP). The use of different advertising methods for the same product can generate different responses in terms of the product’s sales volume. Companies selling

MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...
