Emergency preparedness for transit terrorism : a synthesis of transit practice [PDF]
This synthesis provides information on the current practices of transit agencies to prevent and respond to terrorism and acts of extreme violence. It integrates information gathered from a review of the literature, and from surveys, site visits, and ...

Topical and intralesional therapies for in-transitmelanoma
This report surveys the role of topical and intralesional agents in the management of in-transit melanoma. The extent and progression of in-transit disease is highly variable and many patients can have a protracted period of locoregional control.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

TAD deployment to transit agencies [PDF]
BDK85 TWO 977-12The ability to travel where and when one desires is a basic requirement for independent living that most people take for granted. To travel independently, a transit rider practices at least 23 skills including finding the route, arriving ...

Localization–delocalization transition in quantum dots [PDF]
A model Hamiltonian is proposed in order to understand the localization-delocalization transition in a quantum dot, where there are two gate voltages: top and side. Considering energetically favorable degrees of freedom only, we achieve a finite dimensional Hilbert space.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
