Localization-Delocalization Transition in Quantum Dots

open access: yesScience, 1999
Single-electron capacitance spectroscopy precisely measures the energies required to add individual electrons to a quantum dot. The spatial extent of electronic wave functions is probed by investigating the dependence of these energies on changes in the dot confining potential.

Imaging of High‐Risk Neuroblastoma: Recommendations From SIOPEN Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Specialty Committees

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma is the most common extracranial solid tumor in early childhood. Its clinical behavior is highly variable, ranging from spontaneous regression to fatal outcome despite intensive treatment. The International Society of Pediatric Oncology Europe Neuroblastoma Group (SIOPEN) Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Specialty Committees ...

Multiobjective Approach to the Transit Network Design Problem with Variable Demand considering Transit Equity

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2022
Existing research on the transit network design problem has tended to focus on minimizing the various costs for both transit operators and users. However, to implement an appropriate and effective transit network in urban environments, it is important ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Re-evaluating the satisfaction effects of rail transit accessibility: A comparison of local and network perspectives

open access: yesJournal of Public Transportation
Previous studies have linked public transport accessibility to travel satisfaction, but most focus on local accessibility effects, with limited research comparing these to network accessibility effects.
