Localization on singular varieties
A key result in algebraic K-theory is the localization theorem of Quillen. The main result of this paper, theorem 1.1, is a useful version of the Quillen theorem. It is applied, among other things, to the K- theory of Cohen-Macaulay shemes. [See also the correction announced below.]

Normal Functions over Locally Symmetric Varietie [PDF]
We classify the irreducible Hermitian real variations of Hodge structure admitting an infinitesimal normal function, and draw conclusions for cycle-class maps on families of abelian varieties with a given Mumford-Tate group.

Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Recovery of a Common Bean Landrace (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) for Commercial Purposes
The “Caparrona” bean is a landrace that was grown largely in Monzón, and for that reason, it is also known by the name of “Caparrona de Monzón.” Historical references mention that in the thirties of the last century, Caparrona beans reached a production ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
