Locality and causality properties of light cone string field theory [PDF]
The recent discovery of a new maximally supersymmetric background for the type IIB superstring theory has revived the interest in light cone string field theory.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

The Bell Theorem Revisited: Geometric Phases in Gauge Theories
The Bell theorem stands as an insuperable roadblock in the path to a very desired intuitive solution of the EPR paradox and, hence, it lies at the core of the current lack of a clear interpretation of the quantum formalism.

Uptake and effects of a new sport program at a school in a disadvantaged locality [PDF]
This study investigated the uptake by 11–12 year olds in a disadvantaged locality of a new sport involving a modified, low-risk form of boxing (Box'Tag), and assessed the outcomes of their involvement.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Circuit locality from relativistic locality in scalar field mediated entanglement [PDF]
Locality is a central notion in modern physics, but different disciplines understand it in different ways. Quantum field theory focuses on relativistic locality, based on spacetime regions, while quantum information theory focuses circuit locality, based

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Relativistic locality can imply subsystem locality
Locality is a central notion in modern physics, but different disciplines understand it in different ways. Quantum field theory focusses on relativistic locality, enforced by microcausality, while quantum information theory focuses on subsystem locality,
