Idioms reflecting the interplay between cognition and emotion in cognitive behavioral therapy
BackgroundCognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a widely used and empirically supported psychotherapy method. In recent years, the localization of CBT related to culture has received increasing attention from Chinese scholars.

mRNA localization and local translation in neurons
The spatial and temporal regulation of gene expression in neurons is an important step in creating functional and structural neuronal networks. The complexity of neurons require differential expression of various proteins in different compartments. Highly polarised cells, such as neurons, respond rapidly to different external stimuli by changing their ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Localization of Gauge Theories on the Three-Sphere [PDF]
We describe the application of localization techniques to the path integral for supersymmetric gauge theories in three dimensions. The localization procedure reduces the computation of the expectation value of BPS observables to a calculation in a matrix

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

A Model for the Identification and Evaluation of Locations of Agencies and Branches of Service – Industrial Companies [PDF]
One of the factors affecting the efficiency and effectiveness of a bank is its location. An optimal location for the establishment of a branch can pave the way to meet other bank objectives.

Local Homology and Local Cohomology
Let $(R, {\frak m})$ be a local ring, $I$ a proper ideal of $R$ and $M$ a finitely generated $R$-module of dimension $d$. We discuss the local homology modules of $H^d_I(M)$. When $M$ is Cohen-Macaulay, it is proved that $H^d_{\frak m}(M)$ is co-Cohen-Macaulay of N.dimension $d$ and $H^{\underline{x}}_d(H^d_{\frak m}(M))\cong\hat{M}$ where $\underline ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

The atmosphere of Venus features stationary waves of planetary scale, which are believed to be caused by wind flowing over elevated terrains. Detecting these waves can provide valuable insight into atmospheric dynamics.
