Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

Refinement of an Inequality for the Generalized Logarithmic Mean

open access: yes, 2007
In this article, we show that the generalized logarithmic mean is strictly Schur- convex function for p > 2 and strictly Schur-concave function for p < 2 on R₊².

Inequalities for Compound Mean Iterations with Logarithmic Asymptotes

open access: yes, 1993
We consider the compound means arising as limits from the arithmetic-geometric mean iteration and related iterations. Each of these iterations possesses a logarithmic asymptote. We show that these limit means satisfy very precise inequalities.

Polyimide‐Linked Hexaazatriphenylene‐Based Porous Organic Polymer with Multiple Redox‐Active Sites as a High‐Capacity Organic Cathode for Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A high‐capacity polyimide‐linked porous organic polymer (HAT‐PTO) incorporating numerous redox‐active centers is synthesized via a hydrothermal reaction, delivering a high theoretical capacity of 484 mAh g−1. In situ hybridization with carboxyl‐functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes enhances conductivity and stability, achieving 397 mAh g−1 at C ...

Mean-Reverting Logarithmic Modeling of VIX [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Since March 26, 2004, when the CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE) began trading futures written on S&P500 volatility index (VIX), volatility has become a widely accepted asset class as trading, diversifying and hedging vehicle by traders, investors and ...

Energetic Offset in Organic Solar Cells‐ Importance, Confusion and Outlook

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Energetic offsets in organic solar cells (OSCs) remain a subject of debate due to measurement‐ and lab‐dependent discrepancies. This Perspective clarifies the physical origins of these variations and identifies temperature‐dependent electro‐optical methods as a reliable approach to obtain consistent offset values.

An effective and economic estimation of population mean in stratified random sampling using a linear cost function

open access: yesHeliyon
Improvement in the estimation of population mean has been an area of interest in sampling theory. So many estimators have been suggested for elevated estimation of the population mean in stratified random sampling, but there is still a gap for more ...

In Vivo Monitoring of Thrombo‐Inflammatory Biomarkers via Molecularly Imprinted Polymer‐Integrated Hydrogel Microneedles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A wearable electrochemical microneedle patch integrates Prussian Blue redox transduction with molecularly imprinted polymer recognition for reagent‐free sampling and detection of thrombo‐inflammatory biomarkers in dermal interstitial fluid. The platform tracks thrombin and inflammatory cytokines with sensitive in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo performance,

On Some Cauchy Type Mean-Value Theorems with Applications

open access: yesCommunications in Advanced Mathematical Sciences
Some Cauchy-type mean-value theorems for Chebychev’s inequality, Steffensen’s inequality, midpoint rule, and Simpson’s rule are presented. Furthermore, we give some applications for the obtained results using the exponential and logarithmic functions ...
