Flavonoids from Lonchocarpus latifolius roots

Phytochemistry, 2000
From the petrol extract of Lonchocarpus latifolius roots, 10 flavonoids were isolated. These included: 3,5-dimethoxy-2'',2''-dimethylpyrano-(5'',6'':8,7)-flavone, 3-methoxy-(2'',3'':7,8)-furanoflavanone, 3',4'-methylenedioxy-(2'',3'':7,8)-furanoflavanone, and (2,3-trans-3,4-trans)-3,4-dimethoxy-(2'',3'':7,8)-furanoflavan, as well as the previously ...

Chemical composition and molecular speciation of the triacylglycerol of the oils ofLonchocarpus sericeusandLonchocarpus cyanescens

Natural Product Research, 2012
Proximate composition of the seeds and chemical analysis of the oils of Lonchocarpus sericeus and Lonchocarpus cyanescens were determined. The oil content of the seed of L. cyanescens is 29.71 ± 0.20% while that of L. sericeus is 28.00 ± 0.50%. The seeds as well as the oils of L. cyanescens and L.

Flavanones from Lonchocarpus minimiflorus

Phytochemistry, 1987
Abstract Five novel flavanones have been isolated from the leaves of the Costa Rican tree Lonchocarpus minimiflorus , and characterized on the basis of their spectral features. Three of these compounds contain an uncommon prenyl cyclization, new to flavanone chemistry.

Flavonoids from the stem bark of Lonchocarpus xuul

Phytochemistry, 2000
The stem bark of Lonchocarpus xuul (Leguminosae) has yielded four flavonoids which have been identified by spectroscopic methods as the novel 4beta,5-dimethoxy-6",6"-dimethyl-2H-pyrano-(2",3":7,6)-fl avan (xuulanin), 3beta,4beta,5-trimethoxy-6",6"-dimethyl-2H-pyrano-(2",3":7,6 )-flavan (3beta-methoxyxuulanin).

Flavanones and 3-hydroxyflavanones from Lonchocarpus oaxacensis

Phytochemistry, 2000
The roots of the tropical tree Lonchocarpus oaxacensis afforded the 3-hydroxyflavanones jayacanol and mundulinol, as well as two flavanones, mundulin and minimiflorin. Flavonoids bearing 6,7-(dimethylpyran) and 8-(gammagamma-dimethyl allyl) substituents are characteristic for species grouped in the Minimiflori subsection.

Flavonoids from the seeds of Lonchocarpus costaricensis

Phytochemistry, 1985
Abstract Seven flavonoids have been isolated from the seeds of Lonchocarpus costaricensis of which four appear to be novel. The new compounds have been identified as the β-hydroxychalcone demethylpraecansone-B and the flavanones 7-(3,3-dimethylallyloxy)-8-(3-hydroxy-3-methyl- trans -but-1-enyl)flavanone, 7-(3,3-dimethylallyloxy)-8-(3,3 ...
