Long-Term Rupture Strength of Alloys and Plastics From Tensile Strength at Elevated Temperatures

open access: yes, 1966
This paper covers an investigation to determine if the long-term, tensile stress-rupture strength of alloys could be calculated from the results of static tensile-strength tests at elevated temperatures. Twenty-one alloys were investigated.

ANALYSIS LAYER MODEL OF POLYMER COMPOSITE DESIGN UNDER MULTIFACTOR LOADING

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Research, 2011
A mathematical model is offered for the analysis of complex stress-strain state of the layer load-carrying structures of the aircraft planes. It is presented as sets of the equations of the constraining relations of load parameters, voltages and ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Safe structural design for fatigue and creep using cyclic yield strength

open access: yes, 2014
This study proposes cyclic yield strength (CYS, σ_cy) as a potential characteristic of safe design for structures operating under fatigue and creep conditions.

Long term effects of lead contaminated water on the strength and microstructure of concrete

open access: yesScientific Reports
The discharge of lead-contaminated effluents from industrial activities such as smelting, refining, and petrochemical operations poses a critical environmental challenge by polluting surface and groundwater resources. Among mitigation strategies, the use

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...
