ABSTRACT Polysorbate‐degrading host cell proteins (HCPs) represent a critical challenge in the manufacturing of monoclonal antibody therapeutics due to their potential to persist during downstream processing. While their enzymatic activity has been characterized, the role of direct HCP‐mAb interactions, particularly those involving polysorbate ...

Measuring Black Hole Light Echoes with Very Long Baseline Interferometry
Light passing near a black hole can follow multiple paths from an emission source to an observer due to strong gravitational lensing. Photons following different paths take different amounts of time to reach the observer, which produces an echo signature

In this work, we investigated the dynamic retinal pathology of glaucoma from onset to late stages through longitudinal in vivo high‐resolution imaging in a silicone oil‐induced ocular hypertension (SOHU) glaucoma mouse model. We developed an optimized adaptive optics two‐photon excitation fluorescence microscopy (AO‐TPEFM) technique for morphological ...

A self-calibration approach for optical long baseline interferometry imaging
Current optical interferometers are affected by unknown turbulent phases on each telescope. In the field of radio-interferometry, the self-calibration technique is a powerful tool to process interferometric data with missing phase information. This paper

ABSTRACT This study explores exciting state species and reaction pathways in positive leaders to better understand the breakdown mechanisms of long air gap discharges and natural lightning. Emission spectra from an unstable positive leader in a 1 m rod‐plate air gap under switching impulse voltages were observed, spanning 300–800 nm.

Peixe Zircon as a Quality Control Reference Material in U‐Pb Geochronology by LA‐ICP‐MS
Key Points Peixe#0 zircon was characterised for U‐Pb geochronology using CA‐ID‐TIMS, SIMS and a long‐term LA‐ICP‐MS data set. The consistent results establish Peixe#0 as a reference material for U‐Pb quality control. Trace element heterogeneity requires careful, CL‐guided spot selection.

Aldebaran's angular diameter: how well do we know it? [PDF]
The bright, well-known K5 giant Aldebaran, alpha Tau, is probably the star with the largest number of direct angular diameter determinations, achieved over a long time by several authors using various techniques.
