Astronomical Intensity Interferometry
The development of astronomy relies heavily on advances in high-resolution imaging techniques. With the growing demand for high-resolution astronomical observations, conventional optical interferometry has gradually revealed various limitations ...

Advanced Imaging Methods for Long-Baseline Optical Interferometry [PDF]
We address the data processing methods needed for imaging with a long baseline optical interferometer. We first describe parametric reconstruction approaches and adopt a general formulation of nonparametric image reconstruction as the solution of a constrained optimization problem.

Precessing Jet in the High-Redshift Blazar J0017+8135
The prominent flat-spectrum radio quasar J0017+8135 (S5 0014+81) at z = 3.366 is one of the most luminous active galactic nuclei (AGN) known. Its milliarcsecond-scale radio jet structure has been studied with very long baseline interferometry (VLBI ...

Scintillation Properties of PSR B1133+16 Measured with Very Long Baseline Interferometry
The scintillation of pulsars reveals the small-scale structure of the interstellar medium. A powerful technique for characterizing the scintillating structures (screens) combines analysis of scintillation arcs and very long baseline interferometry (VLBI).

Direct Imaging of a Toroidal Magnetic Field in the Inner Jet of NRAO 150
Most formation models and numerical simulations cause a helical magnetic field to form, accelerate and collimate jets in active galactic nuclei (AGN). For this reason, observational direct evidence for the existence of these helical magnetic fields is of

The localized corrosion behavior of lean duplex stainless steel EN 1.4062 is systematically compared with austenitic and higher‐alloyed duplex grades in natural seawater. A clear resistance ranking is established, highlighting EN 1.4062 as a cost‐effective alternative for limited marine exposure.

Very-long-baseline interferometry experiments [PDF]
VLB observations have been made at many wavelengths from 2.8 to 270 cm. The highest resolution was obtained on the Greenbank-Crimea baseline, 2.9 x 10^8 wavelengths long at 2.8 cm on which two quasars showed interference fringes. The observations between Goldstone, California and Canberra, Australia (8.1 x 10^7 wavelengths at 13 cm) were ...
