Analisa Dispersi Material Serat Kisi Bragg Menggunakan Metode Software Optigrating [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The analysis of material dispersion on Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) by using silica material for the core and cladding with germania-doped silica material has been determined. FBG is used for multi mode.

Highly sensitive label-free antibody detection using a long period fibre grating sensor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
An optical fibre long period grating (LPG) biosensor is appealing in the detection of biomolecules because of the high sensitivity, label-free and real-time measurement.

Widely tunable long-period fibre gratings

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1999
The authors report the realisation of a new type of long-period fibre grating with an enhanced temperature sensitivity of 8O nm/100/spl deg/C by the use of specially-designed fibre structures incorporating polymers. These new gratings should enable broadly tunable filters for communications systems.

Ultra-Broadband Mode Converter Using Cascading Chirped Long-Period Fiber Grating

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2019
We propose and demonstrate an ultra-broadband mode converter based on a cascade chirped long-period fiber grating (CLPFG) written in a two-mode fiber.

Arc-Induced Long Period Fiber Gratings [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sensors, 2016
Long period fiber gratings produced by the electric arc technique have found an increasing interest by the scientific community due to their ease to fabricate, virtually enabling the inscription in any kind of fiber, low cost, and flexibility. In 2005 we have presented the first review on this subject.

Liquid Resin Infusion process monitoring with embedded superimposed long period and short period Bragg grating sensor.

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2010
We propose here the monitoring of the Liquid Resin Infusion (LRI) process for using a superimposed long period (LPG) and short period (FBG) Bragg grating sensor.

Application of Robust, Packaged Long-Period Fiber Grating for Strain Measurement

open access: yesMicromachines, 2016
This paper proposes an optical fiber strain sensor based on packaged long-period fiber gratings (PLPFG) which is fabricated by the micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) process and packaged with poly-dimethylsiloxane (PDMS) polymer materials.

A fuzzy neural network model to determine axial strain measured by a long-period fiber grating sensor

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2020
The paper reports an adaptive-network-based fuzzy inference system for the measurement of axial strain using long-period fiber grating sensors. The long-period fiber grating sensor supports optical resonances, which are sensitive to the change of axial ...

Unifying first principle theoretical predictions and experimental measurements of size effects on thermal transport in SiGe alloys

open access: yes, 2017
In this work, we demonstrate the correspondence between first principle calculations and experimental measurements of size effects on thermal transport in SiGe alloys. Transient thermal grating (TTG) is used to measure the effective thermal conductivity.
