All‐Optical Electric Field Sensing with Nanodiamond‐Doped Polymer Thin Films
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.The photoluminescence (PL) of fluorescent nanodiamonds (FNDs) in a polymer‐based capacitor device is sensitive to electric fields. When an external electric field is applied, the PL intensity of the negatively charged nitrogen‐vacancy center (NV‐) increases, while that of the neutrally charged NV center (NV0) decreases.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Shellular materials form spontaneously by dip coating the primitive triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) wireframe in an aqueous solution of lyotropic liquid crystalline graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets mixed with polymers. Regulated by surface tension, GO nanosheets align on the polymer soap film as the stress builds up during drying.

Hydroxylated Ionic Liquids as Functional Additives for Stable Aqueous Zn Batteries
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A hydroxyl‐functionalized ionic liquid additive (HO‐EMImTfO) regulates Zn2+ solvation and electrodeposition by forming a stable ion‐diversion dam at the Zn interface. This design mitigates Zn pulverization, suppresses dendrite growth, and reduces side reactions, enabling Zn||Cu and Zn||V2O5 cells to achieve exceptional cycling stability and efficiency.
