Games Characterizing Levy-Longo Trees
A simple \textit{strongly universal} innocent game model for Lévy-Longo trees is presented: every point in the model is the denotation of a unique Lévy-Longo tree. The observational quotient of the model then gives a universal, and hence fully abstract, model of the pure Lazy Lambda Calculus.

Tree canopy height is a key indicator of forest biomass and structure, yet accurate mapping across the Amazon remains challenging. Here, we generated a canopy height map of the Amazon forest at ~4.8 m resolution using Planet NICFI imagery and a deep learning U‐Net model trained with airborne LiDAR data.

Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics and Conformal Field Theory
We present a model independent, operator algebraic approach to non-equilibrium quantum thermodynamics within the framework of two-dimensional Conformal Field Theory. Two infinite reservoirs in equilibrium at their own temperatures and chemical potentials

Vog: Using Volcanic Eruptions to Estimate the Health Costs of Particulates
The negative consequences of long‐term exposure to particulate pollution are well established but a number of studies find no effect of short‐term exposure on health outcomes. The high correlation of industrial pollutants complicates the estimation of the impact of individual pollutants on health.

ABSTRACT The assessment of energy efficiency in water facilities is receiving increasing attention as a key strategy in the transition toward an energy‐neutral urban water cycle. This study evaluates the energy efficiency of 146 drinking water treatment plants (DWTPs) in Chile by applying a latent class stochastic frontier analysis (LCSFA) to account ...
