2015 IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV), 2015In this paper, we propose kinematic vehicle lateral motion model based lane keeping system considering look-ahead distance. The state-space model based on the kinematic vehicle lateral motion model is derived and we design the lane keeping system(LKS) based on the kinematic model.

Interferometric processing to look-ahead bed boundary and measure distance and resistivity
SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2013, 2013Summary The interferometric processing of the long-spacing lowfrequency LWD resistivity-log data can be used to detect a bed boundary ahead of the tool and to determine the distance to the boundary and the resistivity beyond the boundary. The interferometric signal is zero when the tool is away from the boundary.
