Loop Closure in a Line-based SLAM [PDF]
The loop closure problem is one of the most challenging issues in the vision-based simultaneous localization and mapping community. It requires the robot to recognize a previously visited place from current camera measurements. While the loop closure often relies on visual bag-of-words based on point features in the previous works, however, in this ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

UcoSLAM: Simultaneous Localization and Mapping by Fusion of KeyPoints and Squared Planar Markers
This paper proposes a novel approach for Simultaneous Localization and Mapping by fusing natural and artificial landmarks. Most of the SLAM approaches use natural landmarks (such as keypoints).

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

The folding rates of two-state proteins have been found to correlate with simple measures of native-state topology. The most prominent among these measures is the relative contact order (CO), which is the average CO or 'localness' of all contacts in the ...

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

A Robust and Lightweight Loop Closure Detection Approach for Challenging Environments
Loop closure detection is crucial for simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), as it can effectively correct the accumulated errors. Complex scenarios put forward high requirements on the robustness of loop closure detection.

A BigBiGAN-Based Loop Closure Detection Algorithm for Indoor Visual SLAM
Loop closure detection serves as the fulcrum of improving the accuracy and precision in simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). The majority of loop detection methods extract artificial features, which fall short of learning comprehensive data ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
