Bulk entropy in loop quantum gravity [PDF]
In the framework of loop quantum gravity (LQG), having quantum black holes in mind, we generalize the previous boundary state counting (gr-qc/0508085) to a full bulk state counting. After a suitable gauge fixing we are able to compute the bulk entropy of a bounded region (the "black hole") with fixed boundary.

Topology Optimization of High‐Performance Optomechanical Resonator
Compact mechanical resonators designed to operate at higher‐order modes are presented, achieving high frequencies and enhanced quality factor‐frequency (Qf) products. Using topology optimization, edge losses are reduced and damping is improved. These resonators offer strong performance in a small footprint, making them ideal for quantum transduction ...

Thermodynamics of Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence in gravity's rainbow
According to some quantum gravity models, Lorentz invariance can be violated in the Planck energy scale. With this motivation, we analyze the thermal quantities and the stability of Schwarzschild black hole surrounded by quintessence in gravity's rainbow

Spinor representation for loop quantum gravity [PDF]
We perform a quantization of the loop gravity phase space purely in terms of spinorial variables, which have recently been shown to provide a direct link between spin network states and simplicial geometries. The natural Hilbert space to represent these spinors is the Bargmann space of holomorphic square-integrable functions over complex numbers.

This study presents a hybrid quantum‐classical framework for accurate prediction of protein structures on utility‐level quantum processors. We evaluate the practical application of the Variational Quantum Eigen‐solver (VQE) in protein structure prediction and demonstrate its superiority over state‐of‐the‐art deep learning methods in molecular docking ...

A new vacuum for loop quantum gravity [PDF]
We construct a new vacuum for loop quantum gravity, which is dual to the Ashtekar-Lewandowski vacuum. Because it is based on BF theory, this new vacuum is physical for $(2+1)$-dimensional gravity, and much closer to the spirit of spin foam quantization in general. To construct this new vacuum and the associated representation of quantum observables, we

Water‐Wave Pancharatnam‐Berry Phase Induced by 4D Spin‐Orbit State Evolution
The first observation of the Pancharatnam‐Berry (PB) phase in water waves is reported, revealing its extraordinary properties including unbounded phase values, spin‐momentum‐locked unidirectional channels, and a Poincaré hypersphere representation. These findings demonstrate the universality of the PB phase across different wave systems and in higher ...

Gluing polyhedra with entanglement in loop quantum gravity [PDF]
In a spin-network basis state, nodes of the graph describe unentangled quantum regions of space, quantum polyhedra. In this paper we show how entanglement between intertwiner degrees of freedom enforces gluing conditions for neighboring quantum polyhedra.
