Renormalization of loop functions for all loops

Physical Review D, 1981
It is shown that the vacuum expectation values $W({C}_{1},\ensuremath{\cdots},{C}_{n})$ of products of the traces of the path-ordered phase factors $P\mathrm{exp}[ig\ensuremath{\oint}\ensuremath{\int}{{C}_{i}}^{}{\mathit{A}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}(x)d{x}^{\ensuremath{\mu}}]$ are multiplicatively renormalizable in all orders of perturbation theory.

A New Looped Functional to Synchronize Neural Networks With Sampled-Data Control

IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, 2022
This article deals with the problem of sampled-data-based synchronization of neural networks with and without considering time delay. A novel looped functional is introduced in the construction of Lyapunov functional, which adequately utilizes the state information of e(tk) , e(t) , e(tk+1) , e(tk-τc) , e(t-τc) , and e(tk+1-τc) .

Effects of Age and ACL Reconstruction on Quadriceps Gamma Loop Function

Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy, 2006
Both aging and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction are associated with strength deficits, which can in turn influence performance of activities of daily living. Thus it is informative to understand mechanisms underlying strength deficits. Age-related declines in strength follow reductions in muscle fiber numbers and size, whereas strength ...

Using invariant functions and invariant relations to compute loop functions

Proceedings of the 32nd ACM/IEEE International Conference on Software Engineering - Volume 2, 2010
In this short paper we discuss the design, implementation and operation of an automated tool that computes the function of while loops written in C-like programming languages.

Additional Looping Functions

2015
Most GIS scripting projects are motivated by the desire to automate repetitive tasks. The Python programming language has a number of special functions and structures designed to facilitate various common demands in repetitive workflows. In this chapter, we’ll highlight some additional useful techniques for GIS scripting, related to Python FOR-loops ...

Simplified non-looping functional loop technique for HDR brachytherapy

Radiotherapy and Oncology, 1998
The loop technique has been employed in interstitial implantation of head and neck cancers for decades. However, cable-driven afterloading sources may be unable to negotiate the curve of the loop. The technique allows separate afterloading of each catheter ensuring a good dose distribution to the surface of the implanted structure.

Catheterization of intestinal loops in ruminants does not adversely affect loop function

Comparative medicine, 2010
Catheterized intestinal loops may be a valuable model to elucidate key components of the host response to various treatments within the small intestine of ruminants. We examined whether catheterizing ileal loops in sheep affected the overall health of animals and intestinal function, whether a bacterial treatment could be introduced into the loops ...

Closed-Loop Functional Electrical Stimulation for Gait Training for Patients with Paraplegia

2018 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO), 2018
This paper presents a novel functional electrical stimulation paradigm to generate locomotion in paraplegic patients. We propose a closed-loop surface functional electrical stimulation (sFES) of 16 lower-limb muscles to produce all subphases of the gait. The reproduction of cyclic and coordinated joint-movements is a challenge, especially if synchronic

QFT bounds for robust stability specifications defined on the open‐loop function

International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, 2017
SummaryIn the framework of quantitative feedback theory, this paper develops a new method to compute robust stability bounds. This is of special interest when stability is defined directly on the open‐loop function. Thus, ignorance of the plant gain and phase shift can be specifically and independently considered. Furthermore, upper and lower stability

Program Analysis with a Loop-Function-based Tracing Tool on Virtual Platforms

Proceedings of the International Conference on Research in Adaptive and Convergent Systems, 2017
Understanding the program behavior and data dependencies are important when designing and accelerating applications. However, conventional profiling tools are insufficient for tracking functions and loops of programs due to compiler optimizations and probe effects.
