Abstract“The Lorentz transformation” derives the Lorentz transformation by an unusual route, from application of simple postulates: space is uniform and isotropic; inertial frames exist; physics is invariant under a change between inertial frames. The speed of light is an invariant, but this property is input last.

On entanglement and Lorentz transformations.
Quantum Inf. Comput., 2002We study the transformation of maximally entangled states under the action of Lorentz transformations in a fully relativistic setting. By explicit calculation of the Wigner rotation, we describe the relativistic analog of the Bell states as viewed from two inertial frames moving with constant velocity with respect to each other.

A simple-straightforward derivation of the most general form of the homogeneous Lorentz transformation is presented. In the process, the well-known decomposition of a generic element of the group into two pure rotations and a “one-dimensional” Lorentz transformation is obtained in a physically obvious manner.

The methods usually adopted for demonstrating the Lorentz Transformation are algebraic. Algebra is a powerful means of arriving at results, but does not in itself explain those results. In the present matter, the average reader is left with a sense of puzzledom, baffled by the paradoxes evolved by the algebra ; the results are demonstrated, but he is ...

We started the last chapter by formally deriving the Galilean transformation in an attempt to try and identify any wrong assumptions in the argument. We came to the conclusion that the only part of the argument that we could throw away was that time was the same in all frames of reference.

Abstract Constantia enters your room. “What’s all the commotion?” You whisper to Mr. Veil, “Breathe none of this to her.” You turn to Constantia. “Ready for the next lesson?” Around Constantia’s neck is a pearl necklace giving her the vague appearance of a young Jacqueline Kennedy. Her shirt is covered with musical notes.
