Quantum Reference Frames for Lorentz Symmetry [PDF]
Since their first introduction, Quantum Reference Frame (QRF) transformations have been extensively discussed, generalising the covariance of physical laws to the quantum domain.

Special relativity on the light-front
P.A.M. Dirac in 1949 showed that it is possible to construct relativistic dynamic forms starting from the description of the initial state of a given relativistic system in any space-time surface whose distances between two points on this hypersurface ...

Homogeneously Modified Special relativity (HMSR)
This work explores a Standard Model extension possibility, that violates Lorentz invariance, preserving the space-time isotropy and homogeneity. In this sense HMSR represents an attempt to introduce an isotropic Lorentz Invariance Violation in the ...

Modified Lorentz transformations in deformed special relativity
We have extended a recent approach to Deformed Special Relativity based on deformed dispersion laws, entailing modified Lorentz transformations and, at the same time, noncommutative geometry and intrinsically discrete space–time.

Noncommutative spaces and Poincaré symmetry
We present a framework which unifies a large class of noncommutative spacetimes that can be described in terms of a deformed Heisenberg algebra. The commutation relations between spacetime coordinates are up to linear order in the coordinates, with ...

Lorentz transformation by mimicking the Lorentz transformation
We show that starting with the fact that special relativity theory is concerned with a distortion of the observed length of a moving rod, without mentioning if it is a "contraction" or "dilation", we can derive the Lorentz transformations for the spacetime coordinates of the same event.

Gauge and Lorentz Transformation Placed on the Same Foundation
We show that a “dynamical” interaction for arbitrary spin can be constructed in a straightforward way if gauge and Lorentz transformations are placed on the same foundation.

Superboost transitions, refraction memory and super-Lorentz charge algebra
We derive a closed-form expression of the orbit of Minkowski spacetime under arbitrary Diff(S 2) super-Lorentz transformations and supertranslations. Such vacua are labelled by the superboost, superrotation and supertranslation fields.

Noether-Wald charge in supergravity: the fermionic contribution
We study the invariance of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1, d = 4 supergravity solutions under diffeormophisms and show that, in order to obtain consistent conditions (“Killing equations”) invariant under local supersymmetry transformations, one has to perform ...
