Ranking Intersecting Lorenz Curves [PDF]
This paper is concerned with the problem of ranking Lorenz curves in situations where the Lorenz curves intersect and no unambiguous ranking can be attained without introducing weaker ranking criteria than first-degree Lorenz dominance. To deal with such

Carrier Concentration–Dependent Seebeck Coefficient in β‐Ga2O3
This work provides an experimental relationship between room‐temperature Hall electron density (n) and Seebeck coefficient (S) for β‐Ga2O3, using high‐quality single‐crystal wafers and Si‐doped homoepitaxial layers. A comparison to Stratton's equations and first‐principles calculations is provided.

Abstract Fractal fluctuations are a core concept for inquiries into human behavior and cognition from a dynamic systems perspective. Here, we present a generalized variance method for multivariate detrended fluctuation analysis (mvDFA). The advantage of this extension is that it can be applied to multivariate time series and considers intercorrelation ...

DC‐Driven Fractional Flux Quanta in Two‐Band Superconductors
The dc‐driven distancing of fractional flux quanta is theoretically analyzed for a dual‐band superconductor with a periodic pinning potential. The analysis is based on the dynamical equation of motion for a single composite vortex. The model neglects the phase difference between the condensates and may be applicable to two‐band superconductors with ...

Asymptotic Distribution Theory of Empirical Rank-dependent measures of Inequity [PDF]
A major aim of most income distribution studies is to make comparisons of income inequality across time for a given country and/or compare and rank different countries according to the level of income inequality.
