RESEARCH OF HCF/LCF COMBINED CYCLE FATIGUE EXPERIMENTAL TECHNIQUE FOR BLADE

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2020
To verify the fatigue life under high-low cycle combined loads of the blade the combined fatigue experimental technique was established. The orthogonal loads decoupling method was proposed based on the cylindrical rolled bearing and linear slide rail, and

Study of Fatigue Damage on Low Cycle Fatigue.

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series A, 1999
To study fatigue damage on low cycle fatigue, tensile tests after fatigue were carried out using cylindrical specimens, and the relationship between the change of residual fracture ductility and the cycle ratio was investigated. The main results obtained are as follows : (1) Until the last stage of fatigue life (N/Nf=0.9 ; crack length 1.5 mm), the ...

Low Cycle Fatigue Life Prediction Using Unified Mechanics Theory in Ti-6Al-4V Alloys

open access: yesEntropy, 2019
Fatigue in any material is a result of continuous irreversible degradation process. Traditionally, fatigue life is predicted by extrapolating experimentally curve fitted empirical models.

Low-cycle fatigue testing methods [PDF]

open access: yes
The good design of highly stressed mechanical components requires accurate knowledge of the service behavior of materials. The main methods for solving the problems of designers are: determination of the mechanical properties of the material after cyclic

Bimetallic (NiFe) and Trimetallic (NiFeCr) Nanoalloys from Metal Oxides Using a Microwave Hydrogen Plasma

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Bimetallic (NiFe) and trimetallic (NiFeCr) nanoalloys (NAs) are synthesized using corresponding oxide mixtures using microwave hydrogen plasma within a few milliseconds. The process simultaneously 1) reduces metal oxides to metals; 2) downsizes the particles from micrometers to nanometers; and 3) blends the metals to form NAs.

Low‐cycle fatigue life of thin‐plate auxetic cellular structures made from aluminium alloy 7075‐T651

open access: yesFatigue & Fracture of Engineering Materials & Structures, 2019
In the article, low-cycle fatigue life durability of thin-plate auxetic cellular structures is compared to the thin-plate specimens of standard shape. Both the re-entrant auxetic cellular structures and the standard specimens were cut from a 2 mm thick ...

Creep-fatigue analysis by Strainrange Partitioning [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Strainrange Partitioning provides unifying framework for characterizing high-temperature, low-cycle, creep-fatigue properties of metals and alloys. Method offers distinct advantage to designers of immediately providing reliable upper and lower bounds on ...
